Spent 20 yrs in corporate side with global brands across consumer and healthcare space, primarily in commercial, Sales & marketing roles.
End ’16- End’18~ dabbled in my own ventures, two simultaneously, one primarily to support my better half into cloud kitchen (The punjab Kitchen) serving gurgaon via platforms such as Zomato and Swiggy (including D2C) and second venture into trading of med tech products (HealthArk) selling global capital equipments via B2B channel to hospitals in NCR region.
For my passion of academia, shifted gears and picked up an assignment at IIHMR university, Jaipur managing VC office as OSD, handling strategy, marketing, admissions et al.
Got attracted by various startups reaching out for support by way of consultation in ’19 and hence chose to become a freelancer (was also missing the action in academia world) & that’s what i have been doing since.
Got really lucky with several inquiries by word-of-mouth especially from consumer and healthcare sector to suggest GTM Strategy (mostly early stage startups), few also wanted support in fund raising as well as by way of introductions to scale up, while some wanted to only focus on growth by way of performance marketing: all in all customised approach is what i have been following so far, making proposals as per the need of the venture/founder.
